Night Market at Ben Thanh Market

In the streets around the market building are the many stalls and shops of the Night Market.  While the day market in the Cho building closes around 6pm the stalls in the neighboring streets open and continue to run until midnight.

The goods on offer in the night market are similar, clothes and accessories, as well as snacks and fruit. However cosmetics are not so common in the night market due to their expense.

On the four sides of the market on both sides of the road stalls will open up in the evening, each of which is well lit and with a large variety of goods on offer. As well as the garments on sale also inside the market the night market has even more food stall choices.  By the late evening traffic is small but there are still Moto scooters and taxis driving on the streets beside all the stalls so please take care of your children.

Some stalls have expanded into sit down restaurants suitable for tourist with menus in English and western style height table and chair. Varies kinds of roasted meats cooked on open charcoal fires are a popular meal in this night market.  Caramel Chicken and barbequed whole giant prawns on bamboo skewers
